MIRKPROD Helps Virginia Mason Foundation Raise More Than $1 Million For Benaroya Research Institute (BRI)

SEATTLE – (May 13, 2010) - The Virginia Mason Foundation raised more than $1 million at the 19th Annual Dreambuilders’ Ball to benefit autoimmune disease research at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI).

MIRKPROD (Andy Mirkovich Productions) produced  The Dusty 45s who entertained the crowd of more than 900 corporate and philanthropic community leaders at the black-tie event, themed “Exploring the Mystery.”

For over a decade, singer/songwriter Billy Joe Huels and The Dusty 45′s have gained critical praise and delivered countless exciting live performances as they pack houses up and down the coast. The Dusty 45′s, which include some of Seattle’s top roots/rockabilly musicians, were voted “Best of Seattle” by Seattle Weekly readers three years in a row. Huels continues to branch out, most recently starring at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre as Buddy Holly.

MIRKPROD is excited to announce Tim Foley to the team!

Tim has joined the MIRPROD (Andy Mirkovich Productions) team as the new Director of Entertainment.

Since elementary school, Tim has exhibited a passion for people and relationships. He is an exceptional event planner, communicator and project manager.  Tim’s professionalism, excellence and attention to detail  are highly evident on every level.  He brings a wonderful balance of experience, fresh ideas and superb organizational skills. 
 
Tim started performing and directing productions and various banquets, carnivals and celebrations in high school and in more recent years has helped ensure organizations like Children’s Hospital, the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce and Federal Way Public Schools, as well as many private parties, producing creative, fun and successful events, meetings and conferences.  What started out as a fun thing to do every once in a while blossomed into a vital part of his life.  
 
Tim has performed, directed, written, choreographed and produced productions involving a broad spectrum of artists, organizations and businesses.  He brings a diverse network and rich background to Andy Mirkovich Productions and looks forward to working with current and future MIRKPROD clients and entertainers.

In Memory of Thomas J. Stewart

I am sad to announce that on February 14th Chairman & CEO Thomas J. Stewart of Services Group of America (SGA) was killed in a helicopter accident north of Scottsdale along with his wife Madena; their five year old daughter Sydney; co-worker and pilot Rick Morton; and Madena’s brother Mailang Abudula.

Tom was a long term client of over 25 years, a business partner for the last 3 years, a good friend and mentor and the father of my principle partner at Event Services of America,  Andrea Stewart, who manages our Scottsdale office.

Everyone at Andy Mirkovich Productions (Mirkprod) feels the loss and sadness send our prayers to the entire family as well as all of SGA and Food Services of America associates.
